Job description

The intern works under the supervision of the head of the communications department and is in charge of the following tasks:
- Edit the updates of the ASF website;
- Write and edit contributions for the annual report;
- Research on social justice and litigation cases related to Globalisation and Justice on an ad hoc basis;
- Support external communication activities (draft, review and edit texts and translations);
- Assist other activities related to the Communications Department (logistics and administrative tasks).

Qualifications

- University degree (Masters or Diploma), preferably in communications, law, international relations and/or human rights;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Well organized, self-motivated and reliable;
- Excellent knowledge of English and French (knowledge of other languages especially Dutch is an asset);
- Strong interest in communications, internet, editing and human rights;
- Strong interest for the issue of corporate responsibility and accountability;
- Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet applications) are required;
- Experience with the application of multimedia tools is an asset. Duration

The internship starts as soon as possible and will last three to four months (to be agreed upon).

Conditions

Avocats Sans Frontières is, unfortunately, not in a position to offer any financial remuneration to interns. Avocats Sans Frontières does, however, provide interns with a small daily transport/lunch allowance.
The intern is responsible for all expenses and costs incurred in undertaking an internship with Avocats Sans Frontières not covered by the daily allowance provided by the organization.
