Manager, Treasury and Risk Management (1402)

The Manager, Treasury and Risk Management is part of a technical unit at CHF responsible for management and technical oversight of CHF's activities related to micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) and housing finance, which together make up CHF's portfolio of Development Finance. The Office of Development Finance currently manages 12 lending operations worldwide, including five wholly-owned microfinance subsidiaries under the CHF holding "ExpressFinance Group, LLC".

The candidate will be responsible for financial oversight of CHF’s loan portfolio worldwide, and directly manages the Finance Division of the CHF ExpressFinance Group. The role is an all round position responsible for building up the financial management, accounting, risk management, and treasury capabilities of the Group.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years experience in financial management, microfinance, banking, or related industry.
Strong manager, ability to motivate others in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to create financial projections, perform credit analysis and manage all facets of due diligence activities is required.
Client-orientation; able to liaise with external business relationships.The candidate must appreciate and deliver on a timely basis the information and due diligence requirements of potential lenders and investors.
Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to relate and communicate effectively internationally.
Excellent judgment and diplomacy.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
MS Degree in Business, Accounting, Banking or related field.
Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices, including USAID regulations and multi-currency accounting a plus.
Experience with Solomon (or similar accounting package), FRx Report Writer, Quickbooks, and MS Office applications desired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and interpret documents, and communicate with others as necessary to perform job duties effectively. English fluency required; second language a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic skills and able to perform job specific mathematics. Experience in data base software and financial modeling required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Able to sit at a computer and operate a keyboard, for extended periods of time.
