We are seeking engineers for a company that specialize in award-winning data loss prevention appliances designed for any organizations -including government agencies, enterprises, or educational institutions that want to protect its brand/ IP, secure sensitive information or maintain compliance.

They deliver accurate protection against known data-loss threats and provide the only complete solution that automatically learns of and defends against new security threats as they evolve. They are a privately held company based in Silicon Valley , Calif.

Data Mining and Analytics

Specific Skills:

Candidate must have developed a core data mining engine that does clustering, classification, associations, time series analysis of large data sets, preferably over a stream (infinite) data

They must be proficient with algorithms (and adaptations) such as: Decision trees, rule based classification, Bayesian methods, K-means, statistical methods for anomaly detection.

The position will require architecting, designing and implementing the solution using the data produced by the proprietary capture and classification and indexing system.

Candidate must have excellent programming skills in C/C++, SQL and scripting environments.

Industry Experience:

5-10 years experience.

Must have gone through at least one full product development cycle, from design to product introduction.

Education:

MS or Ph.D. in Computer Sc. With specialization in data mining, OLAP or streams
