Job Description

To implement and build capacity of communities to implement community based water and sanitation projects in Somalia. To articulate project implementation procedures, monitoring and evaluation exercises while acting as an assistant to the project Manager. He/She shall assist in project planning, implementation and reporting.

Experience in Participatory training methods, Participatory Rural Appraisal, Participatory Learning Approaches and participatory Hygiene and sanitation transformation (PHAST). NGO Experience will be an added advantage. Previous experience in Emergency Water and Sanitation programming in harsh environment will be an added advantage. Self-motivated and sensitive to cultural diversity. People management Skills necessary. Willingness to work in harsh environment away from the family 75% of the time.
