The Robinson Nevada Mining Company has immediate openings at its open pit copper mining operation located near Ruth, Nevada, 7 miles west of Ely, Nevada off State Highway 50.

Mine Maintenance Welding Technicians

The Robinson Nevada Mining Company has immediate openings for Mine Maintenance Welding Technicians. Primary responsibilities include welding repairs and various fabrication work of mine equipment such as Hitachi Hydraulic Excavators, Bucyrus Erie and P & H Electric shovels, IR and Bucyrus Erie drills and Caterpillar haul trucks, dozers, graders and loaders. This job may require working rotating shifts and overtime.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years of mine welding/fabricating experience and must be able to air arc, mig and stick weld and read basic blueprints for fabricating responsibilities. Although the company provides a tool allowance, successful applicants must provide their own basic welding trade tools.

The starting hourly pay for this position ranges from $20.90 to $25.39 per hour, depending upon experience and skill level.
