Contract Duration: 11 Months
Summary of the Post: Under the general guidance of the Chief Field Office, the incumbent :
· will assist counterparts to provide technical assistance in promoting safe drinking water, hygiene and environmental sanitation starting from developing plan, implement, supervise, monitor and evaluate UNICEF funded projects.

· will work closely with Provincial and District level Bappeda, Public works, Education, Health, PKK, Rural Dev, Health Center Staff, Camats, School Principals, School Committees, teachers and community leaders.

· will facilitate the related sectors, NGOs and community to develop plan, implement, monitor and evaluate WES activities supported by UNICEF in NTB province as well as districts of Lombok Tengah, Sumbawa and Bima.


Qualifications:

· Advanced university degree in Social Science or related disciplines.

· S/he should have strong expertise in community processes and development hygiene promotion and will work as a team with another consultant that focused on construction of WES facilities.

· At least 3 years of professional experience, at least partially in water and sanitation activities in planning, implementation, monitoring and management of community process and social mobilization in similar settings and/or Indonesia

· Strong communication skills Indonesian and English in writing and verbally

· Advanced computer skills

· Ability to work productively with government counterparts and NGOs in a multicultural environment

· Analytical and negotiating skills

· Pro-active attitude and good team worker

· Good health and willingness to travel under difficult conditions.
