Objectives:

1. To engage local communities and CBOs in a process of participatory research, analysis and action based on issues of local concern
2. To provide access to adequate community support mechanisms to overcome isolation, prevent exploitation, and fight discrimination
3. To provide communities an efficient structure through which to coordinate and facilitate services
4. To strengthen psychosocial resilience mechanisms and provide improved psychosocial services

Responsibilities:

1. Focus on and oversee the successful implementation of all four objectives of the program
2. Develop with team members under her/his supervision clear plans of action and specific strategies
3. Supervise program staff, providing overall guidance, monitoring and motivation
4. Act as main liaison point and ensure overall co-ordination and communication among RI-SOL units and between various RI-SOL Jordan programs
5. Coordinate with partners, local communities and provide technical inputs
6. Report to management and draft donor reports in a timely, compliant and consistent manner
7. Liaise with appropriate representatives of donor and UN agencies, international organizations, institutions and other NGOs for the coordination and collaboration that will lead to successful development and implementation of effective projects.
8. Evaluate program results and make recommendations for future program directions.
Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years' experience in international development with increasing levels of responsibility
2. 4 years or more experience in program management in the INGO context and/or in sound program implementation
3. Masters, or equivalent higher degree in Development, Education or related field
4. Previous experience managing staff in a cross-cultural context
5. Strong background/expertise in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
6. Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
