The Education, Mobilization, and Communication (EMC) Division of CAII supports the realization of human potential by increasing educational participation, equity, quality, and access across barriers. EMC works with Ministries of Education, communities, and local partners to catalyze change and support reforms so that educational benefits extend to all in society. EMC offers training and technical support that improves teacher performance, management of the learning environment, and educational outcomes.

Position Summary

The Program Specialist is an entry level position with Creative Associates. The Program Specialist will become proficient with company financial and administrative systems and procedures and contribute to the management and implementation of education focused development activitie.

Reporting & Supervision

The Program Specialist will report to a designated Project Director(s)

Primary Responsibilities

1. Become proficient with Creative's administrative and financial systems, and operating procedures
2. Assume responsibility for day-to day activities supporting financial project management, including preparation for quarterly financial reviews
3. Supports the project director in preparation of periodic project and technical reports and presentations
4. Works with home office support offices/functions to identify and address potential problems
5. Supports Project Director to ensure good relations with USAID CTO
6. Supports and is responsive to the project Chief of Party

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

1. Identify personal areas of growth and development with supervisor
2. Serves on project and EMC teams as needed
3. Work with business development teams on technical and financial issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. BA in education - Masters degree preferred
2. 1-2 years work experiecne in a related area
3. Excellent writing and communication skills
4. Expertise with Microsoft Office
5. Ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
