Job Description

International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US based international development consulting company, is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert, for an evaluation in Iraq. This USAID contract, which is currently being implemented, provides monitoring and evaluation services of the USAID portfolio of activities in Iraq.

A start date for this assignment is for mid-April in the Washington DC area followed by four (4) weeks in Iraq in May, before returning to the US to complete the report preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in statistics and/or monitoring and evaluation
- A minimum of 15 years in the M and E arena
- Minimum of ten comprehensive program evaluations for large donor agencies (USAID evaluation experience a plus) with at least five in a Team Leader role.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a very dynamic environment
- Must have demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Must be flexible and able to work under pressure
- Must be in good health.
- Must be willing to work in Iraq and travel outside the International Zone (Green Zone) - travel is expected only to be to Erbil in the Kurdish north.
