The Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital (YKHC) is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. The single-story 100,000 square foot facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Services located in the hospital include an adult medical-surgical ward, a pediatric ward, an obstetric ward, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, an emergency room, pharmacy, lab, X-ray, and specialty clinics. Job Requirements

If you're a talented and motivated individual that have either graduated from an approved school in good standing or if you are a seasoned professional currently licensed in the state of Alaska with a minimum of two years experience in your field, send us your resume.

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical dental services within the priorities of the YKHC Dental Department and assist in dental prevention and dental health education efforts in the Sub Regional Clinics and surrounding villages.


Qualifications:
· 1 position based in St. Mary's
· DDS or DMD degree from a dental school accredited by the commission of Dental Accreditation of the ADA.
· Dental public health background, cross cultural experience, and/or two years practice in Y-K Delta area preferred.
· Time in Bethel may be required before dentist is stationed in the Sub Regional Clinics. Current license to practice dentistry in the State of Alaska.
· Credentials necessary for appointment to the Medical and Dental Staff of the YKDR Hospital.
· General dentistry.
· Ability to supervise dental assistants chair side work and Dental Externs.
