Accountant
Supervisor
Min Job Requirements:
• Prefer someone with an accounting degree or 3-5 yrs of hands-on accounting experience.
• Previous general ledger responsibilities a must.
• Heavy emphasis will be placed on computer knowledge.
• Prefer individual with AS/400 or other mini-computer experience
• Must be experienced in use of Microsoft Office Products with advanced Excel skills (pivot and look-up tables)
• Prefer individual with distribution, manufacturing, transportation or agriculture background.
• Experience should include exposure to the following accounting modules:accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, cash disbursements, fixed assets, revenue recognition& inventory controls.
• Applicant must be an analytical, independent decision-maker capable of performing cost/benefit analysis, capable of handling special projects and developing procedures.
• Multi-location and consolidation experience would be a plus.
• Some overtime may be required.
