Electrical Engineer Job: Excellent Opportunity for Electrical Engineer with 2 years experience with mining and / or equipment maintenance in related industry. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to improving mining equipment reliability, through the use of sound engineering practices and implementation of the reliability process. Investigating and improving preventative and predictive maintenance practices. Actively researching, learning, and applying new maintenance engineering practices. Ensuring compliance with all company HSEC and applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations. Promote the five distinctive behaviors, as identified in the New Mexico Coal Safe Production Model. Qualified candidate must have the following requirements; BS degree in Electrical Engineering, minimum 2 years experience with mining and equipment maintenance is preferred. Six Sigma coaching credentials is a plus. Familiarity with SAP computer system is considered a plus, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and AutoCad is required. Experience or knowledge with power delivery equipment, analog and digital drive systems, PLC programming, large motors and generators. Radio systems operating in the VHF, UHF, and microwave bands. Demonstrated previous project management skills (developing Gantt Charts, financial accounting, organizing vendors and facilitating meetings). Candidate must possess ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing team environment and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
