Job Description

Over all financial and budget management of Baghlan Program; ensure compliance to the AKHS and donor guidelines on policies & procedures; ensure accuracy of accounts and reports; arranging monthly reports to national office; assisting in internal / donor reporting & audit arrangements; supervision, assist RHPM for Admin/ Logistics and HR management of the office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Afghan National with a salary package of upto US Dollars 600 per month ( including all benefits).

- Make sure that all financial transactions are carried out and recorded in accordance with standard financial procedures of the organization

- Preparation of accounts and onward submission to national office on monthly basis.

- Assist the RHPM in day to day administration of office and health facilities.

- coordinate activities with logistic assistant and ensure that the activities carried out in efficient and effective manner.

- Assist the RHPM in Human Resource Management of office and health facilities. Ensure that all HR- records are properly maintained .

- Providing financial / budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and assisting the RHPM in implementation of corrective actions.

- Liquidity management of the region. Monitor cash flow, and ensure that sufficient funds are always available in the program area.

- Protects organization's value and adheres to the information management policies of the institute.

- Manage reconciliation of accounts, and the transfer of funds between head-office, other AKDN agencies and the regional office.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets. Ensure that monthly report is submitted to RHPM for budget monitoring.

- Assist in internal / donor audit and financial monitoring.

- Update the monthly payroll of the region for approval by RHPM. Make sure that taxes and other statutory deductions are made and are reported to relevant authorities.

- Participate in regional program meetings with staff, other AKDN agencies, government and donors.
Qualifications and Experience:

- The vacancy is for Afghan Nationals only (with an expected salary package of USD 600 per month including all benefits).

- Graduation in Finance.

- At least 2 years experience of independent handling of accounts.

- Good computer skills in MS office applications particularly in MS- Excel.

- Good communication and inter-personal skills.

- Command on spoken and written English.

- Experience and ability to work with communities, partners and donors for development of programs.

- Flexible team player.
